CHOOSING THE RIGHT HEADPHONES

The Optimum range for Headphones Price

People are split on what is the optimum range for buying a new set of headphones in. But we at this technology blog feel strongly that we've found the answer. And we're going to share our wisdom or at least our opinion in this post on headphones shopping.

And the Winner for best shopping range is...

We are giving the winner to under $300 range or between $250 and $300. There are actually a number of key reasons for choosing this price range that we will discuss.

Bluetooth Is better at mid-range

I for one am a big admirer of wireless headphones and I love nothing more than a good run in the park while banging out the tunes into my ears! So I need great connectivity and I've found that the mid-range under $300 range gives me just that. I'm comparing this to some of the cheaper sets of headphones that I've owned over the years that had a lousy Bluetooth connectivity.

Compatibility Rules Supreme

I also need excellent compatibility with all devices that I connect with. Cheaper sets just don't cut the mustard in this department. However, with headphones that are fairly priced around three hundred dollars I've been getting superb connectivity across all my devices, whether I'm at home, in the park or office - I'm well connected to my headphones of choice.

Audio Quality

Of course the audio quality of the headphones is a massive factor in choosing your latest set. The audio quality in the lows, mids and highs of cheap sets, well, sucks compared to the best headphones for under 300 dollar mark. Yes I know that headphone s in this mid-range are similar to that of equipment for a  beginner DJ and won't be as awesome as your top end audiophile headphones but we are not all made of money and the best audio per spending power is achieved at the middle range.
